Eggnog and Events!!

I have recently re-discovered a holiday treat that has hidden itself for the past 12 months. The return of EGGNOG, ladies and gents!! Oh my what a long hibernation it was, but that creamy treat is baaaack!! And along with it comes a set of shows and sales I would like to happily invite you to!
December is very busy for me, but I've got my little elves slaving away on some fantastic new treats for you good boys and girls out there (you know who you are....)
FIRST in this list will be Pandora's Trunk: a roving bazaar and fashion fairy tale that will be taking place at the Brava Theater on December 4th. Here's what the folks in Pandora's Trunk have to say about it:

Pandora's Trunk & Brava Theatre present
Visual Vaudeville & Built Burlesque

Thursday December 4th 6-11pm
2781 24th St (at York near Bryant) SF
FREE admission

Storytime Runway Show
Holiday Design & Craft Sale
Live Music and Entertainment
Refreshments

Pandora is taking over this enormously gorgeous vaudeville theater and filling it with built burlesque - the freshest indie craft and design will be presented by its makers in the historic lobby. The beautifully restored theater itself will be a house of performance delights, with live music acts opening for an innovative narrative fashion presentation: a storytime runway show at 8 & 10 pm.
Pandora is bringing you a fashion show turned on its head, a costumed storytime in high style. Drag performers and captured princesses mix with bad banker men and jeweled birds, set to viola and saw music. Check out a fully produced stage show, performed to live music, and meet and greet with the clothing and costume geniuses behind it all. Buy the fashions that you see onstage off the rack, fresh from each designer's hot little hands.
Fashion designers in the floor show will include local design & performance powerhouses Bad Unkl Sista, Miss Velvet Cream, Medium Reality, Ghetto Goldilocks, and many more!! Wine by Patz & Hall, beer by Lagunitas.

SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!! I will be collaborating with Miss Velvet Cream again for this one, and the hats in her section of the runway show will be made by ME!!

SECOND: MISSION BAZAAR!!!

"What is Mission Bazaar", you ask?

Set amidst one of the San Francisco’s most dramatic historical landmark buildings, Mission Bazaar is a unique craft and performance expo that will showcase some of the Bay Area’s most vibrant creative talent. It will showcase a diverse collection of artisans exhibiting their creative works, products, fashion and accessories. There will be over 20 hours of live performances on three stages featuring live music, circus and dance acts, performance artists and DJs, including gypsy jazz, bellydance, spoken word, beatbox, choral ensembles, fashion shows, puppetry, flamenco guitar, and much more. In addition, Mission Bazaar has invited a diverse cross-section of Mission-based non-profit organizations to attend.

Mission Bazaar is going off at the Armory Community Center located at 14th St. and Mission St. The building is HUGE and brown, kinda looks like a castle. In any case, YOU CAN'T MISS IT!!

Saturday and Sunday December 6th and 7th. Hours are from 10 am to 8 pm both days. This is an indoor event; the Bazaar goes on rain or shine. Admission is only $5 for the public.

I had the happy fortune to exhibit at the first EVER Mission Bazaar back in June, and I had a fanastic time with it! The building is so mysterious, and the experience was very surreal. Did you know there's a CREEK running through the bottom of the building?? GO FIGURE!

THIRD is the Autobody fine art gallery art and fashion sale in Alameda on Saturday, December 13th. The sale goes from 1-6pm and you'll be able to pick up incredible clothing and jewelry as well as original pieces of art at affordable prices!!
